Binance Announces Midnight (NIGHT) HODLer Airdrop for BNB Holders
Binance has announced Midnight (NIGHT) as the 61st project featured in its HODLer Airdrops program, rewarding users who held or subscribed BNB during a specific eligibility period. The initiative distributes free NIGHT tokens to qualifying users and prepares the asset for trading on the exchange.
What Is the HODLer Airdrop?
A crypto airdrop is when a project distributes free tokens to users, often to promote a new asset or reward existing supporters. In this case, Binance is allocating 240 million NIGHT tokens, which represents 1 percent of the token’s total supply, to eligible BNB holders.
The rewards are distributed through Binance’s HODLer Airdrops program, which automatically rewards users who hold BNB in certain Binance products.
BNB: The native cryptocurrency of the Binance ecosystem. It is used for trading fee discounts, participation in token launches, and earning rewards.
Simple Earn: A Binance service that allows users to deposit crypto assets and earn passive income.
On Chain Yields: A program that lets users earn rewards from blockchain based staking or yield opportunities.
Snapshots: Random checks Binance takes of users’ balances over time to calculate how much each user qualifies to receive.
Instead of requiring users to register for the airdrop, Binance uses historical snapshots of BNB balances to determine eligibility.
Who Is Eligible?
Users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn or On Chain Yields between February 16 and February 18, 2026 qualify for the NIGHT airdrop.
Eligible users will receive their tokens directly in their Spot accounts. A spot account is the main wallet used for regular cryptocurrency trading on Binance. The distribution is expected to happen within a few hours after the announcement.
Token Supply and Distribution
The total supply of NIGHT tokens is 24 billion, with approximately 69 percent expected to be in circulation when the token begins trading on Binance.
The 240 million tokens allocated for this airdrop represent a small portion of the overall supply and are intended to reward users who supported the Binance ecosystem by holding BNB.
Binance Listing Details
Binance plans to list NIGHT on March 11, 2026, opening trading for the following pairs:
NIGHT/USDT
NIGHT/USDC
NIGHT/BNB
NIGHT/TRY
The token will be listed with a Seed Tag. A seed tag is a label Binance uses for newer or early stage crypto projects. It signals that the asset may experience higher price volatility and carries additional risk.
Final Thoughts
The Midnight HODLer Airdrop continues Binance’s approach of rewarding BNB holders while introducing new assets to the platform. By simply holding or subscribing BNB during the eligibility period, users can receive new tokens without additional steps.
As with any newly listed cryptocurrency, users should understand the project and evaluate the risks before trading.
